Have a cool comfortable ride while reducing cleanup time. DEI's new Heat control and Dirt deflector kit will reduce heat in the center console area while sealing it from dirt and mud that can collect inside the console. Made using multiple materials best suited for the job and CNC cut for a perfect fit. Using our semi-rigid Form-A-Barrier to block heat on the lower section of the tunnel and our Heat Screen aluminized Glass fiber material for the top portion. Simple installation with detailed instructions along with our DEI support team makes install a breeze. Also included is our Extreme Heat Barrier for behind the passenger seat to block radiant heat from the exhaust and engine.

heat control kit
Man, this stuff is fantastic! Very well designed and perfect fitting. Does exactly as description said it would. I will be using other products by DEI to further mitigate the heat issues in the cab, namely the heat coming from the shifter gate opening. You won't go wrong with this product!

Honda Talon 1000 Heat Control Kit
I ride predominantly in AZ where our desert dust is very fine and its pretty warm. I bought this product, based on having used DEI heat shield before. I applied this on a Talon 1000 with hinged front and fixed rear SuperATV windshields. With the front windshield fully closed or in the partially open position, the heat and dust coming out of the shifter is no less than without the kit. If you shine a flashlight on the shifter area at night, it looks like a dust storm! The piece that covers the tunnel (most irregular shaped piece of the three in the kit) leaves a large section at the bottom of the driveshaft tunnel uncovered. It seems apparent that this is the source of the continuing heat and dust.
