How do they work?

Utilizing different types of braided glass and basalt base material, the various styles of DEI sleeves/shrouds protect components such as wiring, cables, hoses, fuel/oil/brake/transmission lines-even speedometer cables. They work by reflecting heat away or insulating from heat, in turn, protecting critical components from thermal damage. Depending on your needs, some sleeves can protect up to 1800°F direct heat and 2500°F radiant. These coverings also protect from cold, moisture, oil, dirt, road and track grime.
