The Kawasaki Teryx with its mid-engine design presents a challenge keeping the riders cool. The DEI Powersports Heat Control kit will reduce radiant heat coming through the center console, interior panels, under the driver's seat, and in the cargo bed. The CNC cut pieces are a 10 mil dimpled aluminum with a glass fiber insulation and an aggressive self-adhesive backing. The kit also includes an insulated mat that replaces the stock rubber engine cover inside the console and insulated line sleeving to block heat from the cooling lines on the driver's side. The final component of this kit is an insulated panel that installs under the bed and blocks heat from the exhaust system radiating up into the cargo area. This comprehensive kit will make a noticeable difference in heat and give the riders a cooler more comfortable ride.

Fits 2014-2024 Kawasaki Teryx 800 2-seat models.

Disassembly easy. Took @3hours. No hurrying. Step by step oinstructions pretty good. Assembly took twice as long. This is Kawasaki's problem, not DEI's. On step # 12, on my year, you have to take the purge line out of the frame tube and take off the 2 bolts that hold the evap cannister,or, you can not take the cover off. This is the oil check access. On step # 20, there was no provision for the evap lines to pass thru the heat shield. Had to cut my own. Also,it made no sense to have the reflective side facing you, instead of facing the engine,so,I reversed this . This is all in relation to step # 12. Sadly, all this work resulted in negligible heat reduction! Sound level was negligible ,also. I would not recommend this kit. Kawasaki should refund every owner their money!!! Over complicated and design poor. I would recommend 12 volt fans next to the so called "air tunnel" ,and installing air scoops in the correct position. Theirs are facing the wrong way!
