DEI Fuel Injector Reflective Heat CoversAVON LAKE, OHIO (AUGUST 24, 2015) – Turbo systems are the easiest and most cost effective way to bolt-on horsepower. For maximum performance potential, turbo shields are used to cover the housing to help maintain a more consistent temperature in the turbo; increasing air-flow efficiency and decreasing turbo lag. For powersports, the shield also doubles as a protective barrier to heat generated from the turbo-potentially protecting the rider from a leg or boot burn.

Building on the popularity of DEI’s award winning ONYX Series™ Flexible Heat Shield, DEI Powersports now offers the ONYX Series™ Turbo Shield, now available for Garrett® GT22 and GT25 turbo sizes. In addition to Garrett brand turbo housings, the ONYX Series™ Turbo Shields also fit several other popular turbo brands including Mitsubishi® and others.

With its compact design and 4 cylinder engine, the muffler, catalytic converter, and exhaust manifold all reside in close proximity to one another on the right side of the vehicle. This concentration of heat easily transfers into the passenger area, cooking the floor and cockpit area.

Boom Mat Improved 2mm Damping MaterialAVON LAKE, OHIO (JULY 29, 2015) – Boom Mat now offers a premium peel and stick 2mm automotive Damping Material that offers a more effective way to reduce unwanted noise. Boom Mat's original damping material has been used for years to improve cabin acoustics. The new and improved 2mm damping material is designed to more effectively reduce low frequency noise typical of structure borne vibrations with less material coverage - reducing weight, material cost and installation time. Road, engine and vibration noise is reduced dramatically when applied to floorboards, firewalls, door skins and overhead interior roof panels.

DEI Fuel Injector Reflective Heat CoversAVON LAKE, OHIO (JULY 13, 2015) – In hot temps, both performance and factory fuel injectors can be at risk of vapor lock or heat soak causing a rough idle, slow starting or other potential serious engine problems. DEI has the solution by introducing Fuel Injector Reflective Heat Covers available in packs of two, four, six or eight, that reflect direct and radiant heat away from the injectors.  Constructed of high-temperature rated glass fiber material bonded to a heat reflective aluminized material, DEI’s Fuel Injector Heat Covers can be used on most any engine configuration utilizing stock or aftermarket fuel injectors. Cooler fuel injectors will perform more efficiently, offering a more consistent throttle response.
